Take something home each session!About this EventBridge Queer Gathering presents a series of workshops by Shani Shafrir from Well Grown.All the workshops in this series can be attended individually or come along to all 4 to experience an immersive journey of learning. Shani creates workshops that emphasise community connection and learning in a relaxed, welcoming and inclusive space.Workshop 1: Soils and Connection to CountryA good garden starts with healthy soil. This session will focus on understanding soil health and how to easily care for the soils in our home garden. We will also discuss the connection we feel to our home via the ground beneath our feet.Participants will get to take home a native seedling with them at the conclusion of the session.This workshop runs for 2 hours, following which you are welcome to attend the community lunch run at Bridge Darebin, a gold coin donation gets you a two course meal and the chance to connect with other community members.Sessions will be held in the garden area and deck of Moon Rabbit Cafe at Bridge Darebin. Please meet at 9.45 on the Moon Rabbit Deck, or head to the Bridge Darebin Reception for directions. *Shani Shafrir is a therapeutic horticulture practitioner and founder of Well Grown. Through gardening and nature-based programs, Shani helps people develop a gentler relationship with themselves while creating inclusive spaces that support wellbeing, connection and belonging.Shani designs and facilitates group programs with community organisations, creating practical, gentle and deeply human experiences.
