On Sunday 1 March, we’re delighted to welcome author and illustrator Kerri Cunningham to Chew’s Yard. Kerri will be reading from and talking about her new poetry collection, All of My Days. After the talk, Waterstones will be selling copies of the book and Kerri will be signing them.
From Preston-based artist and writer Kerri Cunningham, aka Murphy’s Sketches, comes a beautifully created selection of poems exploring parenthood, from the messes to the joys. Her poems have been shared far and wide across the globe as thousands of mothers found comfort and joy in her words. Now those poems and more are together in these pages.
All of My Days celebrates motherhood in all its stages. It is a collection for new mums, for those whose children are growing up fast, and for empty nesters and grandparents too. Thoughtful and relatable, it reflects on the everyday moments that shape family life. With Mother’s Day approaching, it would make a lovely gift.
Kerri Cunningham, aka Murphy’s Sketches, is a writer and artist from Preston in Lancashire. She lives in a small village with her husband and three children. She has always loved drawing and writing and studied Fine Art at the University of Lancashire.

Her parenting podcast, A Moment With Murphy, launched in 2026 and often showcases her poetry alongside heartfelt conversations in her trademark style. She works full time as an artist and writer, selling cards and prints.
