Hidden Talent Conference

Hidden Talent Conference

Preston’s College are delighted to be working in partnership with Lancashire County Council and the Department of Work and Pensions, to host our first Hidden Talent event; providing a unique opportunity for your business to hear from a range of organisations who have benefited from the high levels of skill and talent offered by refugees.

Join us for breakfast at Preston’s College, Fulwood Campus, to hear from a variety of guest speakers, including invaluable insight from the British Red Cross, The Calico Group and Arco on how their organisations has directly benefited from expanding their recruitment search to enhance and develop their workforce.

Often misunderstood, the law surrounding a refugee’s ability to work in the UK can be complex, with many employers unfamiliar with both the available refugee talent, applicable laws, terminology and qualifications. With unemployment records at an all-time low and remaining uncertainty surrounding the UK’s relationship with Europe, finding high quality talent is becoming increasingly difficult, so why not join us, to explore the added value that refugees can bring to your business.

Supporting you to deliver business objectives, enhancing productivity and improving staff retention, discover new ways of hiring and connecting with highly enthusiastic, local talent.

This event will allow you to understand both the law and overseas qualifications more easily, providing both short and long-term solutions to recruitment problems.Places are extremely limited at this FREE, employer event. To reserve your place, please register below.
