Carols by Candlelight

Experience the spirit of Christmas in the 14th century Great Hall at Samlesbury. The historic manor will come alive with the glow of candlelight and the sound of traditional Christmas carols by the roaring log fire in the 700 year old manor.

The Ormskirk Music Society Choir will be treating you to beautiful song, their leader is locally from Blackburn and was former leader of the Grand choir.

Delicious hot turkey butties, mulled wine and mince pies will be available to purchase on the evening and the bar will be open for a festive tipple.

This event will help raise vital funds for Samlesbury Hall’s very old roof (registered charity no 526052), helping us to keep performing traditional carols for many more years to come – thank you for your support.
