A tour led by a butler followed by a scrumptious Chistmassy afternoon tea? Not half! History, ghosts, taste and laughs.About this EventTickets must be purchased in advance and will be checked at the door. Entry will be at one o'clock at the West Wing entrance. The group will consist of up to eight people. The tour guide will be dressed in a period costume, as will other staff members. The guide will show you around Lickleyhead Castle, which will be decorated for Christmas. The tour will primarily be history based but will be interspersed with ghost stories, asides and some humour. After completing the tour the group will be led into the kitchen where an afternoon tea will await them at the kitchen table. The afternoon tea may instead be in the dining room depending on availability. The guide will leave you at this point and the afternoon tea will be hosted by a staff member dressed as a kitchen maid. The afternoon tea will consist of scones with jam, butter and cream, a selection of sandwiches, dainty cakes (or mince pies), Christmas savoury snacks as well as coffee or tea. After finishing their food, participants may wish to purchase items from our small gift shop.
