From Trash to Treasure: The Art of the Junk Journal - Lunch and Learn with Janet Shinkle

From humble beginnings as junk mail trash to a mixed media art work, the junk journal is a "canvas" for experimentation and self-expression which has become popular world-wide. Its purpose is whatever the maker chooses it to be, and it can be a completed project or a dynamic work that evolves over time. A junk journal is a multi-sensory experience both in its creation and in its viewing. Junk? Art? Yes to both!
