About Jaylen: Kansas City's own Jaylen Ward is part of a new generation of Kansas City's musically-renowned Ward family. Jaylen says his deep roots in "jazz and gospel play a huge role in my musical development. Coming from a musical family and multiple generations of artistic prowess, many influences outside of jazz and gospel make their way into my form of expression."

About YBC: Jaylen with be joined by Isaiah Petrie, and Josiah Assefa, a collective dedicated to modern thought, freedom of expression, and music capturing the conscious and subconscious of being young and Black.
