This monumental five-disc collection celebrates half a century of Austin’s legendary "Home of the Blues."  Junebug will dive into the rich legacy of Clifford and Susan Antone's iconic venue, highlighting how it became a sanctuary for blues giants and a launching pad for generations of legendary guitarists. Expect a historic tracklist spanning rare, unearthed recordings from foundational artists like Eddie Taylor, James Cotton, and Pinetop Perkins.

Our state-of-the-art stereo system will capture the true, gritty essence of these performances. You'll feel the staggering dynamic contrast between the soulful vocals of Angela Strehli, the blistering guitar attack of Albert Collins, and the infectious, swampy grooves of Lynn August. From the deep, room-shaking bass notes to the raw, crying soul of a classic harmonica solo, this high-fidelity showcase delivers the smoke and soul of a front-row seat at Antone's.

All of this amazing music will be played on The Listyning Room's world-class stereo system featuring high-end equipment by Audio Note, Perlisten and Cambridge Audio.

Your $20 Donation supports Center For Recorded Music 501(c)(3) and includes admission, complimentary snacks and beverages including soft drinks, flavored waters, and up to 3 complimentary beverages from a great selection of beer, wine, mixed drinks, and NA versions of your favorites.

Seating at The Listyning Room is on a first-come first-seated basis.  Donate in advance to secure a spot for these exclusive events. If any spots are left open, donations will be accepted at the door.

The Listyning Room is located inside the nbkc building - at 3510 W. 95th Street, Leawood, KS 66206 - on the north side of Ranch Mart. There is plenty of parking next to the building.
