Y: Haunted Realities tvoří tematicky propojený diptych, kterým se noříme do zahnívajících vod současných kapitalismů. V první události, ?: ??????? ????????? ?. (????????) se znovu spojujeme s festivalem Bazaar a společně představíme velkoformátovou performanci srbské umělkyně Ivany Ivković s názvem Monument of Trust: THE ARENA.

IVANA IVKOVIČ – MONUMENT OF TRUST: THE ARENA
Tvorba Ivany Ivković se v ČR představí místnímu publiku vůbec poprvé. Umělkyně ve svých delegovaných performancích pracuje výhradně s performery, kteří se identifikují jako muži. Zástupy, davy a skupiny mužských těl využívá jako symbol citlivosti a smyslnosti. Převrací tak tradiční, stereotypní genderové role a reflektuje společenské předsudky a tabu, které vychází z romantického obrazu muže jako vojáka, nebezpečného kriminálníka nebo divokého pouličního chlapce. Její tvorba se tedy zabývá nejen otázkou maskulinity, ale zejména vztahem jednotlivce a systému.

Monument of Trust je vícedílný cyklus, který tematizuje korupci jako sílu, která rozmělňuje sociální struktury, cílí na vzájemnou důvěru a přímo tak rozkládá mezilidské vztahy. V kontextu současných občanských protestů v Srbsku (ale i na Slovensku či v Litvě) a fašizující se evropské společnosti otevírá projekt i otázku, jak korupce a konformismus proměňují naše vztahy a schopnost důvěry jednotlivce k jednotlivci, ale i jednotlivce v systém. Událostí upínáme pozornost ke korupci jako všeprostupujícímu symptomu mocenských hiearchií stejně jako skrze ni chceme vyjádřit podporu všem, kteří vycházejí do srbských ulic od listopadu 2024.

* do performance je možné vstoupit kdykoliv během jejího trvání a pobýt v ní libovolně dlouhou dobu. Je možné opustit prostor Divadla X10 a znovu se do něj vrátit.

V průběhu události nebude k dispozici bar. Na místě nabídneme zdarma vodu a kávu a čaj za dobrovolný příspěvek.

Y: Haunted Realities creates a thematically linked diptych that plunges us into the putrid waters of contemporary capitalism. In the first event, ?: ??????? ????????? ?. (????????), we again join forces with Bazaar Festival to present a large-scale performance by the Serbian artist Ivana Ivković titled Monument of Trust: THE ARENA.

IVANA IVKOVIĆ - MONUMENT OF TRUST: THE ARENA
The work of Ivana Ivković will be presented to audiences in the Czech Republic for the first time. In her delegated performances, the artist works exclusively with performers who identify as men. She uses flocks, crowds and groups of male bodies as a symbol of sensitivity and sensuality, thus overturning traditional, stereotypical gender roles and reflecting on the social prejudices and taboos emerging from the romantic image of man as soldier, dangerous criminal or hoodlum. Her work not only addresses the issue of masculinity but the relationship between the individual and the system.

Monument of Trust is a multi-part cycle dealing with corruption as a force that dilutes social structures, targeting mutual trust and thus directly dismantling interpersonal relationships. In the context of the current civil protests in Serbia (but also in Slovakia and Lithuania) and increasing fascism in European societies, the project also asks how corruption and conformity transform our relationships and individuals’ capacity to trust one another other, as well as the system itself. With this event, we draw attention to corruption as an all-pervasive symptom of hierarchies of power. Through it, we also wish to express our support for all those who have been taking to the streets in Serbia since November 2024.
