- **Event Description**: Urbsounds je dlhodobo aktívne bratislavské vydavateľstvo a kolektív zameraný na experimentálnu elektroniku, DIY prístup a živú performatívnu tvorbu. Už od začiatku 2000-tych rokov predstavuje priestor pre autorský zvuk mimo žánrových hraníc – od technických deviacií až po hlukové machinácie. V Puncte sa predstavia tri výrazné projekty, stelesňujúce zvukovú rozmanitosť – Makkatu, Hlukár a Urbanfailure. Lineup bude doplnený lokálnou producentkou Aortic Stenosis.

Makkatu
Makkatu je bratislavský producent a live-performer, ktorého tvorba sa pohybuje medzi surovým technom, industriálnymi rytmami a zvukovým experimentom. Využíva hardvérové nástroje a živé improvizácie, čím posúva klubovú energiu do nepredvídateľných foriem. Naživo ponúka intenzívny, fyzický zážitok, ktorý stojí niekde medzi tanečnou eufóriou a sonickým útokom.

Hlukár
Hlukár skúma hranice medzi ambientom, noiseom a industriálnou abstrakciou. Jeho nahrávky aj koncerty pracujú s napätím, tichom a hutnou zvukovou hmotou, ktorá má často neuromeditativný, no zároveň znepokojivý charakter. V jeho vystúpeniach sa prelína introspektívna atmosféra s fyzičnou intenzitou zvuku, ktorý vťahuje poslucháča dovnútra.

Urbanfailure
Urbanfailure patrí k dlhoročným postavám slovenskej experimentálnej elektroniky. Jeho tvorba kombinuje glitch, lo-fi techno a rytmy rozbité do nečakaných foriem, pričom zachováva energiu a spontánnosť živého hrania. V jeho setoch sa prelína každodenný mestský hluk so strojovým pulzom, čím vytvára hypnotické a surové zvukové koláže.

Aortic Stenosis
Syntéza temných dronov a pomalých melódií, prechádzajúca do tvrdšej, hlučnejšej podoby. Spolu s terénymi nahrávkami, reflexívnou lyrikou doplnenou surrealistickými vizuálmi, tvorí hypnotický tranz.

Urbsounds is a long-term active Bratislava-based label and collective focused on experimental electronics, DIY approach and live performance. Since the early 2000s, it has been presenting a space for original sound beyond genre boundaries – from technical deviations to noise machinations. Three distinctive projects will perform at Punctum, embodying sonic diversity – Makkatu, Hlukár and Urbanfailure. The evening will be kicked off with a performance by local producer Aortic Stenosis.

Makkatu
Makkatu is a Bratislava-based producer and live performer whose work moves between raw techno, industrial rhythms and sound experiments. He uses hardware instruments and live improvisations, pushing club energy into unpredictable forms. His live performances offer an intense, physical experience that stands somewhere between dance-floor euphoria and a sonic assault.

Hlukár
Hlukár explores the boundaries between ambient, noise and industrial abstraction. His recordings and concerts work with tension, silence and dense sound matter, which often has a neuromeditative yet disturbing character. His shows blend an introspective atmosphere with the physical intensity of sound that draws the listener inward.

Urbanfailure
Urbanfailure is a long-standing figure in Slovak experimental electronic music. His music combines glitch, lo-fi techno, and broken rhythmic structures while maintaining the energy and spontaneity of live performance. In his sets, everyday urban noise merges with the pulse of machines, creating hypnotic and raw sound collages.

Aortic Stenosis
Combination of melancholic melodies and harsh drone structures creates tension between light and darkness. Layers of tones intertwine with poetry and field recordings, creating an introspective sound experience in which inner peace merges with the surrounding noise of the world. This sound space is complemented by abstract visuals, scattered into fragments of light that, in harmony with the sound, transform into a dreamlike, ever-changing landscape.
