- **Event Name**: Willy Mason + Obligatne
- **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 21 Nov, 2025 at 08:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Willy Mason, massachusettský písničkář, jehož tvorba mísí indie folk a country s vlivy punku, se po třech letech vrací do smíchovské továrny se zbrusu novým materiálem a kapelou, v níž hraje Charlotte Anne Dole (Cymbals Eat Guitars, Hammydown, Cult Objects, Empty Country) na bicí a Farley Glavin (The Lemonheads, Killer Motorcycle) na basu. Mason prorazil v roce 2004 s deskou Where the Humans Eat, kterou nahrál v pouhých devatenácti letech. V továrně na podzim představí střípky z připravovaného alba, kterým navazuje na post-covidovou řadovku Already Dead.

„Four albums and nearly 20 years into his songwriting career, Willy Mason’s voice resonates with a new sage authority, the canvas he’s daubing upon more expansive than ever before, and despite all the pain, cruelty and cultural alienation he encounters on Already Dead, the abiding emotion he leaves us with is hope.“ — Guitar.com
