For two decades, Tom Skinner has been a central figure in the London jazz community. He is the co-founder of the pioneering Sons of Kemet, a sought-after collaborator of top electronic producers, the author of his own unconventional projects (Hello Skinny), and last but not least also a member of the experimental rock formation The Smile. His first solo album under his own name, Voices of Bishara (2022), was hailed by critics as one of the best jazz albums of the year.
