Jiwoo Kim, South Korea) and stories about love, sexuality and friendship in the coming-of-age film ‘Wetboy’ by Yentl Vlachos are some of this year's themes. The Festival ends with Melody C Roscher's ‘Bird in Hand’, a feature film that explores race, family, and identity in a darkly comedic and emotional way. Aiming to support local cinema halls, the Prague Film Awards will take place once again at the art-cinema Kino Světozor in Prague's city centre. For one more year, the PFA opens its doors to a mixed audience, aiming to showcase the power of independent films and bring rising talents to the spotlight.
