A to ať již mluvíme o Ruins, kteří spolupracovali s desítkami osobností včetně Freda Fritha, Johna Zorna, Dereka Baileyho či Billa Laswella, nebo o projektu RuinsZu (Akropolis 2023) nebo naposledy o loňském strhujícím koncertě jeho math rockové skupiny Kōenji Hyakkei v Punctu. Tentokrát se představí v duu s klávesistkou Risa Takeda, která momentálně přitahuje největší pozornost tokijské improvizační scény.

Tatsuya Yoshida & Risa Takeda nabízí vzrušující střety a souhry rozvíjející se závratnou rychlostí. Jejich hudba je vysoce strukturovaná, přitom však zároveň zcela improvizovaná. Stylově se volně pohybuje mezi současnou hudbou, progresivním rockem, klasickou hudbou i jazzem. I když se jedná o duo, dokáží zahltit publikum energií a zvukovou silou dvou velkých ansámblů. Do Prahy přijíždí v rámci svého vůbec prvního evropského turné.

Following thrilling concerts by RuinsZu and Kōenji Hyakkei, Tokyo's most energetic duo of the present day arrives.

One of the most radical musicians on the Japanese alternative scene, Tatsuya Yoshida needs no introduction. Whether we are talking about Ruins, who have collaborated with dozens of personalities including Fred Frith, John Zorn, Derek Bailey, and Bill Laswell, or the RuinsZu project (Akropolis 2023), or most recently, last year's thrilling concert by his math rock band Kōenji Hyakkei at Punct. This time, he will perform in a duo with keyboardist Risa Takeda, who is currently attracting the most attention on the Tokyo improvisational scene.

Tatsuya Yoshida & Risa Takeda offer exciting clashes and interplay that develop at breakneck speed. Their music is highly structured, yet completely improvised. Stylistically, it moves freely between contemporary music, progressive rock, classical music, and jazz. Although they are a duo, they manage to overwhelm the audience with the energy and sound power of two large ensembles. They are coming to Prague as part of their first ever European tour.
