# Event Details

- **Event Name**: SOLD OUT !!!! ERASERHEAD XIU XIU
- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 05 Nov, 2025 at 08:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Je to krátkodobá umělecká instalace, velkolepá pocta filmovému triumfu, epitaf idolu, zcela nové dílo? Ano.
Je to naléhavé, zvláštní, podivuhodné a obestřené tou nejtemnější nocí? Samozřejmě, vždyť je to Eraserhead.

? Experimentální uskupení Xiu Xiu v roce 2016 se souhlasem Davida Lynche a Angela Badalamentiho vydalo album Plays the Music of Twin Peaks. Nahrávka i koncertní provedení se dočkaly překvapivého úspěchu.

Původní film dal vzniknout vizuálnímu prizmatu, jehož prostřednictvím publikum udivují a ohromují imaginární nepoužité přídavné záběry pořízené kapelou.

Koncert je součástí doprovodného programu k výstavě David Lynch: Up in Flames.

? Program večera:
18.30–19.15 rozhovor Miloše Hrocha s Jamiem Stewartem v malém sále o „lynchovském“ v hudební imaginaci (proběhne v angličtině)
20.00 show XIU XIU v DOX+

?️ Kolik stojí vstupenka? 790 Kč | vstupenka zahrnuje vstup do výstavy David Lynch: Up in Flames v tentýž den a na rozhovor Miloše Hrocha s Jamiem Stewartem

Členové DOX Klubu mají vstupné zvýhodněné dle úrovně členství.

Is it a short term art installation, an exploded tribute to a cinematic triumph, epitaph to an idol, via an entirely new work? Yes.
Is it intense, odd, curious and shrouded in the gloomiest of nights? Of course, after all it is Eraserhead.

? In 2016 with the blessing of David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti, Xiu Xiu released and toured the surprisingly successful album and concert Plays the Music of Twin Peaks. They always try to follow, honor and continue to be inspired by the incredibly high bar of artistic challenge set by David Lynch, Xiu Xiu is instead going deeper.

? ERASERHEAD XIU XIU is a new live concert with accompanying film that uses field recordings, concert specific homemade instruments, organ, modular synths, vocals, flashlights, electrical interference and elements of musique concrete to express the bizarre emotionality, conflicted sexuality, relentless darkness and singularly unsettled moonscape of this most incredible of midnight masterpieces.

The original sound design and score by Alan Splet and Lynch serve as guide wires to Xiu Xiu's sonic expansion of how they have been affected by them as fans and musicians. The original film gives birth to Xiu Xiu's visual lens through which to be baffled and pummeled by the band's imaginary unused auxiliary footage.

The concert is part of the accompanying programme to the exhibition David Lynch: Up in Flames.

? Programme:
6.30–7.15 p.m. Miloš Hroch interviews Jamie Stewart in the small hall about “Lynchian” elements in musical imagination
8.00 p.m. XIU XIU show at DOX+

?️ How much is the ticket? 790 CZK | ticket includes entry to the exhibition David Lynch: Up in Flames on the same day and the interview with Miloš Hroch and Jamie Stewart

DOX Club members enjoy discounted admission depending on their membership category.
