SCIMITAR (DK) — storming in from Copenhagen with the sound of a fast-dancing blade slicing across the deck of a Pyra ship lost somewhere in the waters of the Middle East. Formed by ex-members of Slægt, Scimitar carves a new path into blackened punk and twisted heavy metal. The band debuted on Dybdestegte, Adam (CСSquelle)’s label, during his showcase in Prague last spring. Now with their crushing new LP Scimitarium I out via Crypt of the Wizard, and a standout appearance at Life After Death Festival (London), they’re set to blaze through Punctum like a possessed vessel on fire.
