# Event Details - **Event Name**: Protomartyr - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 28 Feb, 2027 at 08:00 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: Impresionistický post-punk detroitského kvarteta Protomartyr se po devíti letech vrací do Prahy ☽ Od debutového alba No Passion All Technique z roku 2012 si Protomartyr osvojili umění mistrně evokovat atmosféru místa: ve své tvorbě zhudebňují drsnou skromnost amerického středozápadu vykreslenou rentgenovým pohledem na současnou situaci v USA. Protomartyr – zpěvák Joe Casey, kytarista Greg Ahee, bubeník Alex Leonard a basák Scott Davidson – se za svých šestnáct let existence stali synonymem pro emocemi nabitý, politický i poetický noise rock. Na svou dosud poslední desku Formal Growth in the Desert z roku 2023 navážou novým albem, které 28. února 2027 představí v pražské MeetFactory. „As they continue to challenge conventions and push boundaries, while still being utterly and completely themselves, Protomartyr stand tall as a testament to the enduring spirit of innovation that defines Detroit's rich musical history.“ — Pitchfork ✦ protomartyr.bandcamp.com ✦ protomartyrband.com Vstupenky: → bit.ly/ProtomartyrMF 550 Kč v předprodeji od pátku 10. července, 11:00 350 Kč pro studenty s ISICem 650 Kč na místě ______ Impressionistic post-punk of Detroit quartet Protomartyr heads to Prague after nine years ☽ Since their 2012 debut No Passion All Technique, Protomartyr have mastered the art of evoking place: the harshmodesty of the Midwest, as well as the X-Rayed elucidation of America that comes with their vantage. Protomartyr — vocalist Joe Casey, guitarist Greg Ahee, drummer Alex Leonard, and bassist Scott Davidson — have, over their sixteen years of existence, become synonymous with caustic, impressionistic assemblages of politics and poetry, the literal and oblique. Following their most recent record to date, 2023's Formal Growth in the Desert, Protomartyr return with a brand new album and a European tour set for early 2027, with a stop at Prague's MeetFactory on February 28. “As they continue to challenge conventions and push boundaries, while still being utterly and completely themselves, Protomartyr stand tall as a testament to the enduring spirit of innovation that defines Detroit's rich musical history.“ — Pitchfork ✦ protomartyr.bandcamp.com ✦ protomartyrband.com Tickets: → bit.ly/ProtomartyrMF 550 CZK in presale from Friday July 10th, 11:00 350 CZK CZK for students with ISIC 650 CZK at the door - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/prague/protomartyr/200030392397730 - **Event Categories**: music, art, entertainment, contests, live-music, literary-art - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 175 ## Ticket Details ## Event venue details - **city**: Prague - **state**: PR - **country**: Czech Republic - **location**: MeetFactory - **lat**: 50.05325 - **long**: 14.4082 - **full address**: MeetFactory, Ke Sklárně 3213/15, 150 00 Praha, Česko, Prague, Czech Republic ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Protomartyr - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/c5aa007bd442419ec1f9243db4efad9d21193701ad4edb18b699b9247844135a-rimg-w1200-h656-dc080808-gmir?v=1787583673 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Protomartyr being held? - **A:** Protomartyr takes place on Sun, 28 Feb, 2027 at 08:00 pm to Sun, 28 Feb, 2027 at 08:00 pm at MeetFactory, Ke Sklarně 3213/15, 150 00 Praha, Česko, Prague, Czech Republic. - **Q**: Who is organizing Protomartyr? - **A:** Protomartyr is organized by MeetFactory. - **Q**: What has been the experience of attendees at MeetFactory's events? - **A:** MeetFactory has 142+ followers on AllEvents, reflecting a trusted and active community of event-goers who follow their events.
