?? Pro speciální audiovizuální koncert spojí síly ansámbl Prague Quiet Music Collective (PQMC) a experimentální filmař Jan Kulka. Uslyšíte dvě světové premiéry a výběr skladeb napsaných pro PQMC v posledních letech v kombinaci s unikátní světelnou dramaturgií postavenou na míru prostoru i kompozicím.

Jan Kulka se věnuje experimentální práci se světlem za pomocí promítacích aparátů, často vlastní výroby. Nejkomplexnějším takovým nástrojem je ?️ Pramítačka, analogová čtyřpromítačka schopná promítnout nejrůznější filmové formáty i vlastnoručně vyrobené filmy. Pramítačka bude spojena také s jednou z premiér večera, ale kromě ní využije Kulka i lasery, kouř, divadelní světla či vibrace. Vznikne tak jedinečný audiovizuální environment; snový prostor tichých světel; expanded cinema šumů.

Druhou světovou premiérou na programu bude Limerencia Y od mladého slovenského autora Samuela Hvozdíka. Dále zazní skladby, které vznikly na objednávku PQMC z pera Sylvie Lim (UK), Jacka Langdona (US) a Mateje Slobody (SK).

? ? A dreamlike space of quiet lights and shimmering sounds.

?? For this special audiovisual concert, Prague Quiet Music Collective joins forces with experimental filmmaker Jan Kulka. You’ll hear our music intertwined with a unique light dramaturgy created specifically for the space and for the compositions themselves. 

Jan Kulka works with experimental light techniques using projection devices – often of his own design. His most complex instrument is the ?️ Pramítačka, an analog four-projector capable of projecting a wide range of film formats as well as hand-crafted films. The Pramítačka will be featured in one of the world premieres of the evening, alongside lasers, smoke, theatre lighting, and vibrations. Together, they create a singular audiovisual environment: a dreamlike space of quiet lights; an expanded-cinema landscape of subtle noise and shimmer. 

The second world premiere of the evening is Limerencia Y by young Slovak composer Samuel Hvozdík. The program also includes works commissioned by PQMC from Sylvia Lim (UK), Jack Langdon (US), and Matej Sloboda (SK).
