PRAHO! project ve spolupráci se zadavatelem Kongresové centrum Praha otevírá uměleckou realizaci crossroads, která myšlenkově odráží cestu a propojení historie a současnosti, propojení míst a propojení lidí.

Rádi bychom Tě pozvali na slavnostní vernisáž realizace crossroads, která se uskuteční ve středu 28. května od 18:00 na severních terasách Kongresového centra Praha. Realizace je veřejně přístupná a bezbariérová, vstup je zdarma.

⚪️ O realizaci crossroads

Realizace crossroads odráží slova, pocity a myšlenky obyvatelstva Prahy 4 a návštěvníků/ic KCP. Instalace tematizuje cestu, rozhodování, propojení a hledání směru. Vizuální inspirace čerpá z cest, z map, z rozcestníku a z kruhových dopravních značek, které ukazují směr, kudy se lidé mají ubírat, ale zároveň ponechává prostor pro objevování. Realizace crossroads je rozdělena do tří tematických kategorií: ODKUD? / KUDY? / KAM?. Každá z nich představuje jiný úhel pohledu na proměnu umění, kultury, komunity i sebe sama.

Děkujeme Kongresovému centru Praha, že otevřelo prostor i srdce, stálo u zrodu této realizace a přizvalo PRAHO! project k jejímu vzniku.

⚪️ O PRAHO! project

PRAHO! project je umělecká nezisková organizace, která revitalizuje veřejný prostor a usiluje o vytvoření prostoru pro sdílení niterných myšlenek a autentických pocitů. Zároveň otevírá debatu nad palčivými problémy společnosti a navrací městu lidskou tvář skrze umění a upřímná slova. Stojí za revitalizací podchodů na Fügnerově náměstí, na Vychovatelně nebo v Jinonicích, jejich nejnovější realizace Máš čas? se nachází na stanici metra Kačerov. Další menší umělecké intervence od této organizace se nacházejí po celé Praze.

⚫️ crossroads opening | PRAHO! project & Prague Congress Centre

PRAHO! project, in collaboration with the Prague Congress Centre, is opening new art installation crossroads — a conceptual reflection on journeys and the connection between past and present, between places, and between people.

We warmly invite you to the official opening, which will take place on Wednesday, May 28 at 6:00 PM on the northern terraces of the Prague Congress Centre. The installation is publicly accessible, barrier-free, and free of charge.

⚪️ About the crossroads Installation

crossroads captures the voices, emotions, and thoughts of Prague 4 residents and visitors to the Congress Centre. The installation explores themes of journey, decision-making, connection, and direction. Visually, it draws inspiration from roads, maps, signposts, and circular traffic signs that suggest a path forward, while still leaving space for discovery.

The installation is divided into three thematic categories: FROM WHERE? / WHICH WAY? / WHERE TO? — each offering a unique perspective on the transformation of art, culture, community, and the self.

We thank the Prague Congress Centre for opening both its space and heart, supporting the birth of this project, and inviting PRAHO! project to be part of it.

⚪️ About PRAHO! Project

PRAHO! project is a non-profit organisation that revitalises public space and strives to create space for sharing inner thoughts and authentic emotions. It also opens discussions on pressing social issues and brings a human touch back to the city through art and honest words.

The organisation is behind the revitalisation of underpasses at Fügner Square, Vychovatelna, and Jinonice. Its most recent project, Máš čas?, is located at the Kačerov metro station. Other smaller artistic interventions by PRAHO! can be found throughout Prague.

By co-creating and funding this project, the Prague Congress Centre underscores its role as a major cultural and social hub and demonstrates how public spaces can be enriched by innovative artistic elements that stimulate discussion and engage the broader public.
