Duo Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark je nespornou legendou, která zkraje 80. let vystřelila do synthpopového vesmíru, kde krouží po orbitu dodnes – a nikoliv jen setrvačnou silou hitu Enola Gay. Na oslavy čtyřiceti let na scéně navázali albem Bauhaus Staircase, jejich dosud nejpolitičtější deskou.
„Splněný sen“ a „atmosféra lepší než na fotbale“, psalo se po jejich vyprodaném pražském koncertě minulý rok. A teď se OMD vrátí – a energie mají na rozdávání.

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), the synth-pop duo from Wirral, England, pioneered their genre combining massive chart success with experimentation on albums such as Organisation (1980) Architecture and Morality (1981) and Dazzle Ships (1983). Hits such as Enola Gay, Maid of Orleans and Souvenir propelled them into the stratosphere and helped shape the musical landscape of the eighties.
