The Municipal House located in  Náměstí Republiky next to the Powder Gate is another civic building that houses the Smetana Hall, a celebrated concert venue in the city.  The Prague Music Museum, in the lesser town contains over 400 historical musical instruments on display, and also hosts exhibitions and music concerts.
