Lama Tsultrim Allione is one of the most prominent female teachers of Tibetan Buddhism in the West.

Chöd teaches us to turn toward what we usually avoid. Instead of suppressing fear or inner conflict, we learn to embrace and transform them. You will receive a blessing for this practice in the lineage of the great Tibetan yogini Machig Labdrön, in the form of a traditional empowerment, as it was transmitted to Lama Tsultrim Allione by her teacher, Lama Wangdu Rinpoche.

The program will also include guided practice of Phowa, known as the “Opening of the Gate to Space.” This practice works with the conscious release of attachment to the body, the mind, and a solid sense of “self.” In its traditional context, it relates to the moment of death — teaching how to transfer consciousness into a liberated state.
At the same time, the practice of Phowa is highly practical for everyday life. By recognizing the natural nature of the mind, we can more easily release the fear of losing control and remain consciously present even in challenging situations.
