La Peña je tradiční argentinské folklórní setkání, kde se lidé scházejí, aby si zatančili a zazpívali lidovou hudbu. Je to místo, kde hudebníci a publikum nakonec splynou v jedno. Kytary kolují z ruky do ruky, vzduchem zní chacarera, zamba a chamamé, lidé zpívají, tančí mezi stoly a jídlo s pitím tečou proudem.

Při této příležitosti se k nám připojí jak místní umělci z pražské hudební scény, tak i hudebníci, kteří přicestují přímo z Argentiny.

Rytmy nás zavedou i do mnoha dalších koutů amerického kontinentu: uslyšíte bolero, valčíky a součástí tohoto bujarého nedělního veselí bude zaručeně i nespoutané tango porteño.

Zveme vás také na otevřenou lekci argentinských lidových tanců, kterou v polovině akce povedou Mariano a Alejandro. Své první radostné taneční kroky si tak budete moci vyzkoušet v praxi ještě to samé odpoledne.

Pro zpříjemnění večera si budete moci vychutnat také tradiční choripány, grilované na otevřeném ohni.

La Peña is a traditional Argentine folk gathering where people come together to dance and sing folk music. It is a place where musicians and audience eventually blend into one. Guitars pass from hand to hand, chacareras, zambas and chamamé fill the air, people sing, dance between the tables, and food and drink flow in abundance.

On this occasion, we will be joined by local artists from Prague’s music scene, as well as musicians travelling directly from Argentina.

The rhythms will also travel across many parts of the Americas: you will hear boleros, waltzes, and surely some free-spirited porteño tango will be part of this exuberant Sunday revelry.

We also invite you to join an open class of Argentine folk dancing, led by Mariano and Alejandro halfway through the event, so that you can put your first joyful dance steps into practice that very same afternoon.

To accompany the evening, you will also be able to enjoy traditional choripanes, grilled over an open barbecue.

La Peña es una fiesta popular argentina donde la gente se junta a bailar y a cantar folklore. Un Lugar donde los músicos y la audiencia terminan todos mezclados. Las guitarras pasan de mano en mano, suenan chacareras, zambas y chamamé, se canta, se baila entre las mesas y se come y se bebe en abundancia.
En esta ocasión contamos con artistas locales de la escena praguense y músicos que nos visitan directamente desde Argentina.  
Los ritmos circularán además por muchas geografías americanas, oirás boleros, vals y algún tango rebelde y porteño seguro se dará cita en este jolgorio de domingo. 
Además,  te invitamos a la clase abierta de danzas folclóricas argentinas que impartirán Mariano y Alejandro a mitad de la jornada, para que esa misma tarde puedas practicar tus primeros alegres pasos.
Para acompañar la velada, podrás probar los típicos choripanes asados y hechos a la parrilla.
