✨ Kiasmos není jen další elektronická dvojice – je to symbióza dvou mistrů svého oboru. Ólafur Arnalds, známý skladatel a multiinstrumentalista, je mistrem klavírních kompozic a jemných, melancholických melodií. Spolu s Janusem Rasmussenem, průkopníkem inovativní elektroniky a syntezátorových zvuků, vytváří hudbu, která je technicky precizní, ale zároveň naprosto emotivní. Kiasmos spojuje intimitu klasické hudby s minimalismem elektroniky tak, že každý tón má svůj smysl a prostor. Právě díky této rovnováze mezi technikou a emocemi jsou považováni za jedny z nejvýraznějších inovátorů současné scény.

✨ Jejich nové album II, vydané v roce 2024, si získalo pozornost kritiků díky svému vyspělému zvuku a ambiciózní orchestraci, kterou doprovázel islandský orchestrem SinfoniaNord. Albu vévodí skladby jako „Dazed" a „Flown", které kombinují jemné melodie klavíru s rytmickými texturami a ambientními zvuky přírody. Nahrávka II je po 7 letech třetí album Kiasmos. Podle Ólafura Arnaldse si duo tentokrát dalo na čas: „Zatímco debut vznikl během měsíce, na tomto albu jsme pracovali několik let. Měli jsme tak prostor se k němu vracet, přehodnocovat věci a postupně se opět dostat do rytmu společného tvoření." Tento proces vedl k bohatšímu a vrstevnatějšímu zvuku, který budou moci ocenit návštěvníci opening koncertu dvanáctého ročníku festivalu Spectaculare.

Spectaculare už podvanácté nabízí propojení prvků současné elektroniky, avantgardy, jazzu a ambientu prostřednictvím pozoruhodných a inspirativních umělců ze všech koutů světa. Zažijte to letos s námi!

From classical music to techno - Kiasmos will open Spectaculare_12. On 28 February 2025, the duo Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen will bring their new album II and a live show full of Nordic moods and hypnotic beats to SaSaZu club. The charismatic synth and drum machine enthusiast Natascha Polké will also perform as support with Kiasmos.

Ólafur Arnalds, a well-known composer and multi-instrumentalist, is a master of piano compositions and gentle, melancholic melodies. ✨ Their new album II, released in 2024, has gained critical attention for its advanced sound and ambitious orchestration, accompanied by the Icelandic SinfoniaNord orchestra. The album is dominated by tracks like "Dazed" and "Flown", which combine delicate piano melodies with rhythmic textures and ambient nature sounds. Record II is Kiasmos' third album in 7 years. According to Ólafur Arnalds, the duo took their time this time around. “We had the space to revisit it, reassess things and gradually get back into the rhythm of creating together." This process has led to a richer, more layered sound that visitors to the opening concert of the twelfth annual Spectaculare festival will be able to appreciate.
