Z Atén dorazí do betonové zahrady Šachty pojízdné imaginárium: ?????? ???? & ??????? ???????? na svém turné revidují soundystemové travellerství do podoby audiovizuální street party, kde se do sebe taví nestabilní obrazy a hybridní zvuky. (Zlo)pověstné sonické výboje Olivera Torra se tu živelně zhmotňují a znovu roztékají v nástrojích, které jsou vynalézány skoro v reálném čase. Aggelos Paitakis svou praxi s vizuálními efekty a pohyblivým obrazem přepracovává s mikroskopickou přesností. Prostřednictvím živých kamerových záběrů, hlukové improvizace a nelineárního přerušovaného záznamu vzniká jakási paralelní verze probíhajícího dění. Dodávka slouží jako útočiště, zvukový a projekční aparát pro živě modulovaný přenos i scéna otevřená ke spolupráci s open micem. „Aktivní obvod“ ústřední dvojice výzkumníků zahrnuje i spřízněný kolaborativní materiál — zazní tak společné tracky s nejen místními veličinami, jako je v Šachtě nedávno vystavující Olbram Pavlíček aka Pavlov Skinner a více-než-digitální avatar awoo.

A mobile imaginirium is coming from Athens to the concrete garden at Šachta: ?????? ???? & ??????? ????????, who, on their tour, are reimagining traveller/sound system culture as an audiovisual street party, where unstable images and hybrid sounds merge into one another. Oliver Torr’s (in)famous sonic outbursts spontaneously materialise here and melt away again within instruments that are invented almost IRL. Aggelos Paitakis reworks his practice with VFX and moving image with microscopic precision. Through live camera shots, noise improvisation and non-linear, intermittent recording, a parallel version of the unfolding events emerges. The van serves as a refuge, a sound and projection apparatus for a live-modulated broadcast, and a stage open to collaboration via an open mic. The ‘active circuit’ of the central pair of researchers also includes related collaborative material — featuring joint tracks with not just local figures, such as Olbram Pavlíček (aka Pavlov Skinner), who recently exhibited at Šachta, but also the more-than-digital avatar awoo.


The programme of Holešovická šachta gallery is supported by grants from The Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, Prague City Hall and The Municipal district of Prague 7.
