⚡︎ Irská kapela Gilla Band ve složení Dara Kiely, Alan Duggan Borges, Daniel Fox a Adam Faulkner se dala dohromady v roce 2011 v Dublinu, tehdy ještě pod názvem Girl Band. Jejich poslední, kritikou ceněná deska 𝘔𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭, si vysloužila hodnocení jako „mistrovské dílo paniky a dekonstrukce“ od serveru Pitchfork nebo přirovnání k „poslednímu rave před apokalypsou“ a „nejdokonalejšímu vyjádření základního autodestruktivního impulsu rock’n’rollu“ v hudební sekci The Guardianu.

⚡︎ Gilla Band se stali jednou z nejvlivnějších irských kapel a inspirovali současnou vlnu kytarovek, jako jsou Fontaines D.C. nebo The Murder Capital. Irská čtveřice si i po letech na scéně drží svůj radikální zvuk a touhu tvořit a objevovat, která se v jejich případě rovná nutnosti.
