"V. Havel měl pravdu, že Sovětský svaz rozložily spíš džíny a rock než cokoliv jiného. Ovšem aby džíny a rock zafungovaly, chtělo to ještě něco navíc". Dokumentární film o tom, že kultura může spustit společenskou změnu, o odvaze tvořit a vnitřní síle se uvádí v programu festivalu Nezlomní a obětovaní. 

V roce 1984, na počátku sovětské perestrojky, se skupina litevských architektů rozhodla pro zábavu založit hudební skupinu, aby oslavila Nový rok. Jejich barevná vystoupení, parodující totalitní sovětskou realitu, se však nečekaně rozrostlo do hnutí tzv. Rockových pochodů, které se dostalo do čela Zpívající revoluce v Litvě. Film dodnes inspiruje a vypráví nejen o hudbě a revoluci, ale také oživuje mnoho nezapomenutelných okamžiků z konce 80. let.

Giedrė Žickytė-Bajarūnienė (*1980) – litevská režisérka a filmová producentka, zakladatelka produkční společnosti Moonmakers, režisérka televizních a filmových dokumentárních filmů. Za svou práci získala řadu ocenění. Její film Skok získal ocenění na Mezinárodním filmovém festivalu ve Varšavě v roce 2020 a na festivalech v Jižní Koreji, USA a Litvě. V roce 2015 získala za film Mistr a Tatjana ocenění Litevské filmové akademie za nejlepší režii, nejlepší kameru a nejlepší střih, a mnoho dalších.

ENG: "Havel was right that the Soviet Union was dismantled more by jeans and rock music than anything else. But for jeans and rock music to work, something else was needed." This documentary film about how culture can trigger social change, about the courage to create and to maintain inner strength, is featured in the program of the film festival Unbroken and Sacrificed. 

In 1984, at the beginning of Soviet perestroika, a group of Lithuanian architects decided to form a band for fun to celebrate the New Year. However, their colorful performances, parodying totalitarian Soviet reality, unexpectedly grew into a movement of so-called Rock Marches, which took the avant-garde of the Singing Revolution in Lithuania. The film continues to inspire today, reminding not only about music and revolution, but also reviving many unforgettable moments from the late 1980s.

Giedrė Žickytė-Bajarūnienė (*1980) – Lithuanian director and film producer, founder of the Moonmakers production company, director of television and film documentaries. She has received numerous awards for her work. Her film The Jump won awards at the Warsaw International Film Festival in 2020 and at festivals in South Korea, the USA, and Lithuania. In 2015, she received the Lithuanian Film Academy Awards for Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing, among many others, for her film Master and Tatiana.
