? Ginga Art by Iolanda ?
Dedicated to us Women. Ginga is all about confidence, grace, precision, feminity, elegance and personality.

Ginga is not about steps and less about style... Ginga is the rhythm in which you move your body from one side to the other on cadence. It is all about being fluid and coordinated. In order to be a good follower you must be in control of your body and emphasis the rhythm. The body motion leads yours moves and not your steps...

Iolanda Rangel has been dancing since she was a child. She grew up in a dance environment since her mother was also a performer. When Iolanda was 15 years old she joined high school dance team where her favourite dance style was Hip Hop and Reggaetón. In 2011 she received her first invitation to perform as Kizomba Dancer at Barrio Latino Lisba. At the age of 23, Iolanda won first place at the World Championship Africa a Dançar with her dance partner Dasmara Dos Santos, in the categories of Kizomba, Semba and Funaná. Iolanda Rangel is formally educated in Criminal Psychology and she combines her pedagogic experience and knowledge in psychology to improve the learning process and enable all her students to became successful dancers.
Her favourite subject is "Women's body movement" or “Ginga” (name used to describe the African womens body movement). She is honoured to share her knowledge and empower people from different parts of the world.
