Polyrytmický futurismus, thrash, punk, laviny hluku a dekonstrukce západoafrických hudebních tradic → Nespoutané avant-rockové trio Avalanche Kaito poprvé zahraje v Praze.
V projektu Avalanche Kaito se potkali dva pankáči – francouzský bubeník Benjamin Chaval a belgický kytarista Nico Gitto – s burkinafaským flétnistou, perkusionistou a griotským zpěvákem Kaitem Winsem. Společně vydali dvě desky plné afro-punkových polyrytmických experimentů, které v živém podání představili na festivalech Supersonic, End of the Road či Colours of Ostrava – a v červnu je v rámci svého nadcházejícího evropského turné přivezou taky do pražské MeetFactory.
Nové album Avalanche Kaito – Talitakum – odhaluje nekompromisní energii a duchovní sílu, které bezpochyby vykrystalizovaly z jejich neúnavného koncertování. Na stagi jsou zjevením planoucím nezkrotnou intenzitou a kolektivní silou, svobodně oscilujícím mezi starobylými griotskými tradicemi, hypnotizujícími polyrytmy a zběsilým thrashem.

Polyrhythmic futurism, thrash, punk, avalanches of noise, and deconstruction of West-African musical traditions → The blazing avant-rock trio Avalanche Kaito is set to play in Prague for the very first time.
Avalanche Kaito is the exhilarating combination of Burkina Faso born urban griot Kaito Winse and fellow punk experimentalists – Belgian guitarist Nico Gitto and French drummer Benjamin Chaval. This transnational avant-rock trio created waves with their visceral self-titled 2022 debut, bagging notable festival appearances at Supersonic and End of the Road, a KEXP session and much deserved critical and audience enthusiasm.
Avalanche Kaito’s new album Talitakum reveals an energy and spiritual weight that has undoubtedly emerged from the group's incessant touring. Their live shows are indeed revelatory, twisting and turning with an unexpected intensity and collectiveness, spinning freely from ancient griot traditions to full-throttle thrash (with many stops in between).
