Using a real-world ecosystem as our case study, this talk dissects the essential patterns and strategies needed for success. We'll map out its core "skeletal" structure and then dive deep into the vital systems that bring it to life, showcasing each concept with clear, focused code examples.


We'll start with key areas like the API 'Nervous System,' the UI 'Public Face,' the 'Metabolic System' of caching, and the testing 'Immune System' to uncover the secrets of a healthy ecosystem. You'll leave with fresh ideas and a new perspective on building your own scalable and developer-friendly SDKs.

Info: If you're a Kotlin Android developer, you're closer to being a full-stack developer than you think. With a Ktor backend and a Kotlin/Wasm frontend, the same language and logic we use every day can now power complete web applications. So, how far are we from building entire projects on our own?

In this talk, I'll show you it's not far at all. Get inspired as we tackle common backend and frontend challenges—like working with a database, deployment, and managing image assets—all from the comfort of a Compose Multiplatform monorepo. This isn't just theory; it's a live demonstration, and you'll even be able to try out the running web app for yourself!
