Z pozůstatků post-rockové instrumentální kapely A Burial At Sea vzešel projekt newhvn, který mísí své post-rockové kořeny s vlivy shoegaze a post-hardcore. Stejná kapela, jiné jméno. Po světových turné a vydání dvou alb v rámci svého předchozího projektu ABAS mají newhvn za sebou roky zkušeností, během nichž si vybudovali fanouškovskou základnu v Irsku, Velké Británii, Evropě a Asii a předskakovali kapelám jako And So I Watch You From Afar, The Ocean nebo This Will Destroy You. S touhou odpoutat se od svého post-rockového zvuku čerpali inspiraci od Pinegrove a Cloakroom a v kombinaci se svým backgroundem vytvořili kolekci 10 skladeb, která vyjde v letošním roce. Sparing připadl nejpovolanějším - Madebythefire vznikli v devadesátých letech a definuje je zběsilý, povětšinou jen instrumentální mix ema a math rocku. I oni letos chystají nové album. Gig pro fajnšmekry.

From the remnants of the post-rock instrumental band A Burial At Sea, newhvn emerged, blending their post-rock roots with shoegaze and post-hardcore influences. Same band, different name. After touring the world and releasing two albums under their previous project ABAS, newhvn have years of experience under their belt, building a fan base in Ireland, the UK, Europe and Asia, and supporting acts like And So I Watch You From Afar, The Ocean and This Will Destroy You. Eager to break away from their post-rock sound, they drew inspiration from Pinegrove and Cloakroom, and combined their background to create a 10-track collection that will be released this year. Sparing was the most appropriate - Madebythefire formed in the 1990s and are defined by a frantic, mostly instrumental mix of emo and math rock. They are also preparing a new album this year. A gig for connoisseurs.
