Festiwal łączy w sobie bezpretensjonalność oraz plenerową swobodę z wysoką jakością programu muzycznego. Enter jest też miejscem wielu premier, inicjatorem nowych muzycznych kolaboracji. Liczne projekty rozpoczęte właśnie nad Jeziorem Strzeszyńskim miały swoje kontynuacje w Polsce i Europie.

Na scenie Enter Enea Festival w poprzednich latach wystąpili m.in. Kenny Garrett, Al Di Meola, Gard Nilssen’s Supersonic Orchestra, Jesus Molina, Natalie Tenenbaum, Joey Calderazzo John Patitucci Dave Weckl Trio, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Dhafer Youssef, Chassol, Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Verneri Pohjola, Connie Han, Michał Urbaniak, Mitch & Mitch, Yoyo Mayer, czy Iva Bittova.

Od 2024 roku, pod egidą Festiwalu, organizatorzy zapraszają też na koncert do Sali Ziemi na Międzynarodowych Targach Poznańskich. W ramach tego cyklu gościliśmy już pt. “Enter Enea Festival prezentuje” wystąpili Buika, Eliane Elias Quartet, Jan Garbarek, Branford Marsalis Możdżer/Danielsson/Fresco 

Organizatorem Festiwalu jest Fundacja „Europejskie Forum Sztuki”, której prezesem i fundatorem jest Jerzy Gumny. Festiwal realizowany jest dzięki wsparciu Urzędu Miasta Poznań oraz Marszałka Województwa Wielkopolskiego.
