"Jesteśmy wielokulturową grupą ludzi, których połączyła wiara w kreatywność, wspólnotę i budowanie relacji poprzez teatr. Pochodzimy z różnych krajów (z Bahamów, Białorusi, Islandii, Indii, Palestyny, Polski, Rosji, Turcji, Zjednoczonych Emiratów Arabskich, Ukrainy, USA, Brazylii i Azerbejdżanu) i środowisk, ale teraz wszyscy mieszkamy tutaj — jako Wasi nowi sąsiedzi — i chętnie Was poznamy. 
Podczas tego wydarzenia opowiemy trochę o tym, kim jesteśmy, jak powstała nasza grupa i jakie są nasze cele. Nasza misja jest prosta: tworzyć przestrzeń, w której ludzie z różnych kultur mogą się spotykać, wyrażać siebie i wspólnie tworzyć coś pięknego. 
Będzie też można spróbować tradycyjnych potraw z naszych krajów pochodzenia. Zaprezentujemy „Due Date” - krótką i refleksyjną sztukę autorstwa Andrei Hope. To fajna, humorystyczna i filozoficzna opowieść o chwili tuż przed narodzinami — rozmowa o strachu, odkrywaniu świata i tajemniczej drodze stawania się człowiekiem. Bez zdradzania szczegółów: sztuka zaprasza do refleksji nad tym, dlaczego tu jesteśmy, czym jest rozwój i w jaki sposób miłość oraz odwaga kształtują nasze życie. 
Po spektaklu zaprosimy Was również do udziału w kilku zabawnych grach aktorskich i interaktywnych aktywnościach, aby wszyscy mogli się rozluźnić, pośmiać i się lepiej poznać. Nie potrzeba żadnego doświadczenia — wystarczy ciekawość i otwartość. 
Mamy nadzieję, że dołączycie do nas na wieczór pełen sztuki, rozmów i smaków. Spotkajmy się, porozmawiajmy i zacznijmy budować coś razem — jako sąsiedzi."

Join us for a friendly and open meeting with Open City International Theater.
"We are a multicultural group of people who came together because we believe in creativity, community, and connecting through theater. We come from different countries and backgrounds, but now we all live here — as your new neighbors — and we would love to meet you.

At this event, we will tell you a little about who we are, how our group began, and what our goals are. Our mission is simple: to create a space where people from all cultures can meet, express themselves, and build something beautiful together.

There will also be traditional foods from our countries of origin, so you can taste a bit of where we come from (our theatre community has included actors from the Bahamas, Belarus, Iceland, India, Palestine, Poland, Russia, Turkey, the U.A.E., Ukraine, U.S.A., Brazil, Azerbaijan).

During the evening, we will perform “Due Date”, a short and thoughtful play by Andrea Hope. It is a gentle, humorous, and philosophical story about the moment before birth — a conversation about fear, discovery, and the mysterious journey of becoming human. Without giving anything away, the play invites us to reflect on why we are here, what it means to grow, and how love and courage shape our lives.

After the performance, we will also play some fun acting games and interactive activities, so everyone can relax, laugh, and get to know each other. No experience is needed — just curiosity and an open heart.
We hope you will join us for an evening of art, conversation, food, and community.
