DQ Sled Dog Race: 1

Join us at Passchendaele State Forest, For the First race of the 2026 season! This is an ANKC Sled Dog Race.

Camping is NOT available on site, Strictly NO FIRES permitted in the forest. Free camping is available at the Dalveen Rest Area or paid options are available at Stanthorpe such as Showgrounds or caravan parks.

The Venue is located aprox 20km North of Stanthorpe, on the New England Highway.

Entry to the forests off Amiens Rd and follow the "Sled Dog Racing" signs to the marshaling area.


This is a 2 heat race, Saturday PM and Sunday AM.

Vetting 4:00pm
Drivers Meet: 4:30pm
Race Start: 5:00pm Pending temperatures.
Sunday Race-
Drivers Meet: 6:00am
Race Start: 6:30am
Subject to change due to weather.

Qualifying Classes held will include: all Distances pending temperatures
8 DOG (Pending Entries) 6.4 km
6 DOG - 5.3 km
3/4 DOG - 4.3 km
2 Dog Scooter -3.6 km
1 Dog Scooter 2.9 km
Juniors - 2.9 km
