Meet at Solomon Wright Public Library at 5pm.  We will walk to Clayton Park and the Hoosic River and then back to the library, learning about wild edible flora along the way. Nibbling will be encouraged. Free and open to all. Families are welcome. Sponsored by a private donor. The walk will end on Main Street at 6 pm, where Pownal’s June Block Party will be taking place. From 5 pm to 8 pm there be lawn games, herbal demos, Afghani food, and beverages! HooRWA will also be tabling at this event so you can learn more about the Hoosic River Watershed.
