Christmas Tree Recycling

Free Christmas Tree Recycling is being offered in Powhatan this season. Bring trees by Yard Works in Powhatan Monday-Friday from Jan 2 - 31, 2026 between 7:30am-5pm. Real trees only - NO artificial trees!

Please remove all decorations/lights from tree before drop off. Recycling your real Christmas tree is a great way to go green for the holidays. Recycled trees are ground into a mulch product that is reused in the landscape. Sponsored by Powhatan Anti-Litter Council and Yard Works Powhatan (1990 Anderson Hwy).
