This 5 day week-long course provides all materials, tools, firing and is open to all levels; no experience necessary! Firing and glazing included. 

*Open to youth aged 13-17.

Course Focuses: 

- WHEEL (2 days): Wheel throwing is a great method for creating pottery, typically associated with creating cups, bowls, vases and other functional ware.  Students will learn wheel essentials such as: Wedging, centering, pulling forms, and trimming. 

-HANDBUILDING (3 days):Handbuilding is everything made with clay off the wheel and includes learning multipule techniques to create sculptures and functional ware alike! Students will learn handbuilding techniques such as: slab construction, coilbuilding and surface design through underglaze and more.
