San Diego Trail Company Camps at the Ranch

Campers learn the foundations of horse care, grooming, tacking, and groundwork, while also building confidence, responsibility, and teamwork. Every day brings a mix of riding, hands-on education, and classic camp activities. Daily horseback riding lessons for ages 6 to 17 years old

Horsemanship instruction (grooming, tacking, groundwork)

Equine education (anatomy, behavior, safety)

Trail walks, scavenger hunts, and nature activities

Arts & crafts projects

Daily games and activities

Supervision from certified instructors and camp counselors

Cancellations or changes must be made in writing.

14-Day Notice: Cancel at least 14 days before the start of camp to receive a full refund of your deposit.

After Full Payment: No refunds will be issued after the full charge is processed (two weeks before camp begins). All payments at this point are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No refunds, fee reductions, or credits will be issued for:

Late arrivals

Early departures

Withdrawals

Dismissals

Medical Cancellations

All campers are subject to the above policies; however, exceptions may be considered in the event of a medical issue.

A signed doctor’s note is required, and you must contact the Summer Camp Director to discuss the situation.

In cases of major illness, injury, or serious family emergency during camp, refunds may be granted minus administrative fees and the cost of days already attended.
