Hidden Sounds of the Americas is a journey through the sonic geography from Alaska to Patagonia, blending traditional music and contemporary compositions that, through an immersive audiovisual experience, unite ancestral sounds to cutting-edge technology alongside indigenous masks and dances. 

Pro-Art welcomes Orchestra of Indigenous Instruments and New Technologies to the Wise County Performing Arts Center at J.W. Adams Combined School in Pound on Saturday, April 25th at 7 p.m. in conjunction with our W. Campbell Edmonds Concert Series. Tickets are $15 at the door. Children and students will be admitted free. The concert features replicas of unknown pre-Columbian instruments recovered from archaeological museums as well as from indigenous communities in the Amazonas, the Andes, and Mesoamerica.

This engagement of Orchestra of Indigenous Instruments and New Technologies is made possible in part through the Mid Atlantic Tours program of Mid Atlantic Arts with support from the National Endowment for the Arts ​​​​​in collaboration with Ibermúsicas.
