Three Cellists and Three Dancers in Concert

On Friday, November 21st at 7PM and Sunday, November 23rd at 3PM Stone Valley Arts presents a unique concert featuring the collaboration between three cellists and three dancers and a pianist. They have been working together to offer a varied program to include music composed by : J.S. Bach, David Popper, Pablo Casals, Gary Schmidt and Joni Mitchell. The collaborative project between dancers and cellists has been produced by Erika Schmidt, dance artist and choreographer. Schmidt’s dance projects have been produced throughout the US and at International Dance Festivals. This is an opportunity for audiences to experience an inspiring performance featuring the combination of solo and trio cello music and dance with original choreography by Erika Schmidt and Melisa Clark.
Participating Dancers are Melisa Clark, Lea Reill, Alex Welych-Miller.
Participating cellists are Dawn Hobbs, Jack Shiller and Erika Schmidt and Gary Schmidt on piano.
