As the wheel of the year turns toward autumn, we gather to honor the Fall Equinox, a time when light and darkness find balance, the harvest reminds us of abundance and gratitude, and we begin the  transition toward the inward season.

Join us for an afternoon of seasonal connection, practical hearth magic, shared skills, ceremony, and community.

? Gathering Schedule

2:30 PM — Arrive & Gather

Settle in, connect with one another, and help prepare our gathering space.

3:00–4:30 PM — Opening Circle and Seasonal Skills Share.  We will be beginning promptly at 3:00.

Explore practical hearth magic and seasonal traditions, including:

 Hawthorn  Heart Medicine and herbal preparations

 ? Fire cider and seasonal remedy

?️ Practical hearth magic

? Sharing knowledge, skills, and stories


4:30 PM — Fall Equinox Ceremony

Together, we will honor the balance of light and dark, express gratitude for the harvest, and reflect on what we are ready to release to compost and what we wish to nurture in the coming season of the dark half of the year.

5:00 PM Community Potluck & Dinner

Share food, warmth, and good company. We invite seasonal harvest dishes, homemade creations, and nourishing food to enjoy together.  Local, Seasonal, or Traditional sharing.  There is a sign up sheet.

5:45 PM  Soft Closing & Clean-Up

6:00 PM Closing Circle

We'll work together to restore the space and bring our gathering to a close.  Feel free to stay for awhile after to enjoy visiting and the warmth of the fire.

This is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world, and celebrate the abundance of community.

Bring your curiosity, a dish to share, and any seasonal skills or traditions you'd love to contribute.

? What to Bring to the Fall Equinox Gathering

We’ll be spending time outdoors, making things, sharing food, and participating in ceremony, so please come prepared for the weather and bring what you’ll need to be comfortable.

 ? For Your Comfort

Camp chair
 Warm layers and weather-appropriate clothing
Rain gear, if needed
 Comfortable shoes suitable for being outdoors
 Blanket or extra layer for sitting around the fire
 Water bottle

 ? For Fire Cider & Herbal Making

If you’d like to participate in making and taking home fire cider:

* 1 glass jar with a lid — pint or quart size
* tincture bottles if you have them

a ?️ For the Potluck

* A dish to share: seasonal, homemade, or simply something you enjoy
* Your own plate/bowl
* Your own cup or mug**
* Fork, spoon, and/or other utensils
* Serving utensil for your dish, if needed
* Optional: cloth napkin

? For the Seasonal Gathering

* Something from nature that represents autumn, harvest, gratitude, or release to place on the seasonal altar
* A candle or small offering, if you’d like
* Journal and pen, if you enjoy reflection

Bring what you need to be comfortable, warm, dry, nourished, and present.

We’re aiming for a low-waste, community-supported gathering, so bringing your own dishes, cups, utensils, and reusable containers is especially appreciated.
