Portfolio Illustration & Animation: Session I

Bring your ideas to life through illustration, storytelling, and animation! In this 8-week class, students will explore a range of creative techniques to create their own imaginative worlds, characters, and narratives. This course is ideal for students interested in character design, concept art, world building, storyboarding, graphic design, comic/graphic novel creation, mixed media, and digital animation. Blending traditional and digital approaches using tools such as Adobe Suite and Procreate, students will participate in hands-on projects, drawing exercises, and group critiques. By the end of the course, students will build 4-5 finished pieces that reflect a unique artistic vision and growing confidence. A sketchbook is required.

This class will prepare students for advanced classes such as Senior Project, live model courses, and college applications. For ages 14-19.
