About Mostly Muttz: Co-Founder April Moyer adopted her first dog in 2005, a Boxer, from Adopt a Boxer Rescue. She was so impressed by the organization that in March of 2008 she became an official volunteer and brought her mom Mary along for the ride. From 2008 – 2013, they continued to volunteer and became more and more involved in the daily operations of the rescue. During these years, their hearts broke for those mixed breeds that they couldn’t do anything to help, especially those slated for euthanasia. In 2012, in addition to helping with day to day operations of Boxer rescue, April and Mary began fostering for an all-breed rescue, Phoenix Animal Rescue. They hoped this would ease some of the pain in their hearts when it came to mix-breed dogs. In August 2013, it became evident to them that it was time to move on, time to take a risk and strike out on their own as mother and daughter partners in crime. They decided to call this new endeavor Mostly Muttz Rescue! Seven years later, Mostly Muttz Rescue has saved over 3500 dogs and counting. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/pottstown/comedy-fundraiser-to-benefit-mostly-muttz-rescue/200030804235807 - **Event Categories**: nonprofit, comedy, dog, parties, entertainment - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 33 ## Ticket Details ## Event venue details - **city**: Pottstown - **state**: PA - **country**: United States - **location**: 50 Sunnybrook Road, Pottstown, PA, United States, Pennsylvania 19464 - **lat**: 40.2464 - **long**: -75.61061 - **full address**: 50 Sunnybrook Road, Pottstown, PA, United States, Pennsylvania 19464 ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Comedy Fundraiser to benefit Mostly Muttz Rescue - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events9/banners/b7918c39a149146a8af0e440cef696890e84a05d1e9362c0b476d6fb95972d0a-rimg-w750-h750-dcf8f8f8-gmir?v=1791444127 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Comedy Fundraiser to benefit Mostly Muttz Rescue being held? - **A:** Comedy Fundraiser to benefit Mostly Muttz Rescue takes place on Thu, 29 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Thu, 29 Oct, 2026 at 07:00 pm at 50 Sunnybrook Road, Pottstown, PA, United States, Pennsylvania 19464. - **Q**: Who is organizing Comedy Fundraiser to benefit Mostly Muttz Rescue? - **A:** Comedy Fundraiser to benefit Mostly Muttz Rescue is organized by SoulJoel's at SunnyBrook. - **Q**: What has been the experience of attendees at SoulJoel's at SunnyBrook's events? - **A:** Attendees have given SoulJoel's at SunnyBrook a rating of 5/5 based on reviews from early attendees on AllEvents.
