"A Christmas Carol" comes to The Two Brewers, Northaw on Christmas Eve! THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS TREAT - with Guy Masterson
Olivier Award winner, Guy Masterson, will give a special performance of his internationally acclaimed rendition of "A Christmas Carol" in the cosy setting of The Two Brewers pub in Northaw on Christmas Eve! THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS TREAT
After selling out his village hall in 2017, 2018 and 2024, this year, by special invitation of Tom Arnold, the new publican, our local thespian, and veteran of the West End and Broadway, Guy Masterson, will present his internationally acclaimed rendition of Dickens' festive favourite in his village pub - where he has written many of his plays for over 40 years!
Masterson has performed this piece 300 times over 9 years around the world in all kinds of settings, but has never performed it roaming in a pub! It will be a fitting conclusion of his 2025 UK tour.
Adapted & directed by Nick Hennegan, with wonderful original music by Robb Williams, Masterson will bring the entire story to vivid life roaming among the glowing fires and candles throughout this charming 16th Century Inn creating a magical event that will linger long in the memory.
As it will be uniquely presented throughout the pub, seating is non-reserved first-come-first-served-basis - so no seat should be better than another, so the advice is to to get there early and enjoy the victorian Christmas Carols! Doors will open to ticket holders at 15:45. The show will start at 16:30.
Drinks and festive munchies including mince pies, cheese & mulled wine will be served prior to, in the interval, and afterwards, and the pub will re-open to the general public around immediately following the event (around 18:30) where you may have a drink with the performer himself!
