Join AARCH and Lupini Construction at Potsdam’s Bayside Cemetery to learn about the repointing process and gain invaluable, guided experience working with historic masonry at the site’s intriguing Richardsonian Romanesque gatehouse. This workshop will highlight techniques for removing old mortar, repointing, and proper finishing methods. If you are looking for exposure to the finer points of historic masonry and mortar maintenance, this workshop is for you!

This workshop is led by a crew from Lupini Construction and runs from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The fee is $100 for AARCH members and $125 for non-members. Lunch is included. This workshop is first come, first served.

This project is funded, in part, by grants from the National Trust Preservation Fund of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Historic Preservation Education Foundation.
