- **Event Description**: We're excited to announce that our Learn to Skate program begins Tuesday, August 11 and runs every Tuesday through September 15, from 6:00–9:00 PM at the Pine St. Arena in Potsdam, NY.

The cost for the six-week program is $50.

To participate on the track, you must have your own roller derby gear, including:

Quad roller skates
Helmet (multi impact, hockey helmets work)
Mouthguard
Knee pads
Elbow pads
Wrist guards

Northern Ice and Dance carries equipment and schedules skate fittings. We have very limited loaner gear.

If you're interested in officiating or volunteering, we'd love to have you! Come meet the league, learn about the different roles, and see what roller derby is all about.

No previous roller derby experience is required. Whether you've never put on a pair of skates or you're looking to return to the sport, we'll help you build skills in a welcoming, supportive environment.
