LAVINIA (she/her) schreibt ihre Songs, wie man Briefe schreibt - die man nie abschickt. Doch statt unausgesprochene Gedanken still in der Manteltasche verschwinden zu lassen, landen sie in ihren Liedern - ehrlich, intim und voller Widersprüche und Mehrdeutigkeiten.

Zwischen deutschem Indie, Alternative-Rock und bewegender Lyrik führt uns die Künstlerin aus Hannover aus der nächtlichen Großstadt hinaus an einen fernen, verträumten Küstenort. Die deutschen 2010er Pop-Rock-Bands wie „Wir sind Helden“ oder „Juli“ haben sie hierbei inspiriert.

LAVINIA öffnet mit der neuen EP "Zeig mir, wie man schwimmt" ein neues tiefblaues Kapitel. Die neuen Songs werden zu Nachrichten an alte Freunde und erzählen von tröstendem Fernweh, mutigen Entscheidungen und Beziehungen, die in den Strudeln des Alltags entweder treiben oder kentern. Die wiederkehrende Gestalt des ‚Wassers‘ und die Farbe ‚Blau‘ werden hierbei zum Symbol
