As part of Bay Days 2026, we invite our community to come together at the Terence Bay Community Hall for a meaningful morning of reflection, listening, and learning in observance of the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.

We are deeply honoured to welcome back L'nu poet, musician, and university professor Raymond Sewell, who will be sharing his stories, poetry, and music with us.

This is an open space for neighbours of all ages to gather, listen, and reflect on reconciliation and Indigenous voices in our community and beyond.

When: Wednesday, September 30
Time: 10:00 AM
Where: Terence Bay Community Hall (80 Sandy Cove Road)

Following the presentation, we encourage everyone to stay for community fellowship—Jess’s Mess Food Truck will be on site and outdoor music will begin at 11:30 AM. Our Kids Bicycle Parade will take place from 12:30-1pm.

We encourage attendees to wear an orange shirt in honour of survivors, their families, and the children who never returned home.

Please join us for this important and impactful morning. ?
