Book online or in person at the marinaAbout this EventSouthsea Marina Angling Club are holding their second Open BASS Boat Fishing Competition on the 18th July (subject to change to 19th July due to prevailing weather conditions). Longest single bass wins. You can pay the entry fee of £20 on arrival at the Marina Office on the day, or pre-pay using the Eventbrite link (booking fee applies). Please note all fish have to be measured on the club fish measures available from the Marina Office for £20 (refundable on return). Length will be verified by video. This is a Catch & Release competition, although anglers can retain fish if required subject to the prevailing national bass fishing regulations. There will be a "Shotgun Start" at the Roway Wreck marker at 7:30am. Winning claims must be made in person at the Marina by 6pm to qualify. This will be followed by a prize-giving ceremony in the Marina Bar. First Prize: cash of 60% of entry fees. Second prize cash of 30% of entry fees.
