Step into the magic of the season as the historic Marting’s building shines bright with twinkling holiday décor and festive cheer. Gather with friends and family to enjoy the sights and sounds of the parade as marching bands, colorful floats, and beloved holiday characters make their way down Chillicothe Street.

Sip on rich hot cocoa or treat yourself to a festive adult beverage while you wait for the main event — a visit from Jolly Old Saint Nick himself, spreading Christmas joy inside our beautifully decorated venue.

When the last float passes, the celebration doesn’t stop! Continue the holiday fun just down the street at the Friends of Portsmouth Polar Express Winterfest Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring a dazzling light display and plenty of merry moments for all ages.
